One-of-a-kind works of art reimagined from the world’s finest collection of vintage Hermès scarves. Each piece is unique, handcrafted in our Lexington KY atelier – never to be repeated.

Scarf is hand-sewn onto the mat to celebrate the unique character of the hand-rolled edges. Due to custom nature of our pieces, please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. Additional frame molding choices available upon request.

Story Behind The Scarf

The Hermès Peinture Fraîche scarf, designed by Dimitri Rybaltchenko, tells the story of a phone call and a drawing. Rybaltchenko illustrated a phone conversation he was having while waiting on hold, using a four-color ballpoint pen. The resulting sketch, featuring the Hermès telephone number and bookplate, was transformed into the "Please Hold the Line" scarf. The design captures a sense of waiting, drawing, and reverie, with the patterns leading to the center where the phone number is located.

Vintage Hermès 100% silk Peinture Fraiche scarf hand-sewn onto an acid-free conservation board mat and custom framed in a 2" warm platinum gilt wood frame to celebrate the unique character of the hand-rolled edges. Hanging hardware included.
