Story Behind the Scarf

The Hermès Oeillets Sauvages et Autres Caryophyllales (Wild Carnations and Other Caryophyllales) scarf is a celebration of botanical artistry and nature-inspired design, often noted for its delicate, intricate depiction of wild flowers.

The scarf was designed by Androniki Goulandris in 1990. The design centers on a detailed, realistic, and artistic study of wild carnations and related botanical species (Caryophyllales).
